It pains me realizing how much apathy Burmese Military rulers are showing towards their own people by REJECTING any assistance what was offered. They are slowly accepting it..but crucial 4 or 5 days were lost and that might have been TOO LATE for So Many!

i totally agree. dad had been to Burma sometime back and he was appalled at the wholesale poverty over there. hardly any industries, hardly any development and hardly any progress but still the people were so innocent and happy. guess have lost hope for any kind of improvement in their lives.
i only hope that things improve in the land of gold pagodas.
