Today I created my first playlist in Youtube.
And if the date is 15th of May, and I am going to create my first ever Youtube player it is no brainer in guessing about whom it will be. Also I realized it does not look good to break the tradition of something which I started the same day last year (letter).
So here it is, First thought will include only top 5 or so, but as soon as I started browsing/recollecting..the 5 became 10 , 10 became 20 and so on. Anyway decided to put a HARDSTOP on 25. It is indeed a "badee mushkil" task to select few from her innumerable list of performances.
So without further ado and marking the occasion of her 41st birthday I proudly present my collection...a 90 minutes of sheer magical journey with one and only Madhuri Dixit!

good compilation. But how come you missed the Didi Tera Dewar..from HAHK. I think that is one of her landmark perf.
anon, thx for leaving a note.I agree, and that was in my list along with another song from HAHK (pehla pehla pyaar hai) and they do apper in my playlist, but seems these being licensed clips from Rajshri I cant put them in public player. ig
Parinda - Okay - Agree that it should be there, and should be there at no-1 as well. But rest, well, you might like to have a relook at the collection, and the sequence -
What happened to
Parinda song no-2: "Pyar ke mod pe"
Tezaab? - "keh do ki tum"?
Ram Lakhan - "O Ramji"
Beta - "Sainyan-ji se" Madhuri looks more beautiful than the featured "chane ke Khet mein" of Anjaam - and the choreography is much better as well - The “naughty” part being the same!
Beta - "Koyal si teri Boli" , "Sajna" are better numbers than "Keh do ik"
Hmm.. why not have another look at the sequence?
Vaise, it isnt easy to pick the best 5 of Madhuri - or to have an agreement of that with anyone else -! its more complicated than - Dravid's assessment and Mallya's assessment of T20 cricketers!
But – Parinda – “Tumse milke” IS the best!
Changing the topic, and giving a start for the next blog, any views on Dravid's selection - and what was wrong about that?

yes I agree it will be very difficult ever to come to a list doing a complete justification..but then I will atleast give my explanation to your notes:
a) Parinda's tumsey milke is the best. I agree..and thats why it is at number#1. But blv me. after that I wanted to keep it complerte random..rather than sequence. These are my fav 25..u can say rather than Top 25 starting from #1 to #25.
b)Tried to keep one song per movie except in Khalnayak and Sajan..I can justify them.
c)Keh Do ik Baar..deserves to be in the list...
d) Also gave weightage to pouplar vote..so anytime Dhak Dhak beats Koyal see teri boli.
Yes BS and *&%$ was my reaction too to Rajshri and Erosenterianment who have licensed the clips and youtube doesnt allow them to be put in public player.
IPL: Hmmm..hardly following it except Sreeshant Tamasha..lol

c)O ramji (ram lakhan) is there in list..see clip16
d)chane kay khet (anjam) makes a place in the list because of the "dance".
