100 Days...A sure hit !

A traditional bollywood thriller made in 1991, but one of its first in many categories. Excellent performances by all the crew members but it is the director and lead actors who hold it together extremely well, even seeming tightly focused overall. Many unexpected twists and turns but at the end everything seems under control. Had its own lighter and romantic part too and immediately connecting to families and particularly to younger audiences. Media played a significant role in publicizing by photos, reviews and constantly playing the popular numbers from it. The tone is definitely in sharp contrast to work done by some of its predecessor aka RGV and Ramsay Brothers, so shares some inevitable criticism from that sector too.

Overall an impressive work by debutant director Partho Ghosh...and a welcome change and declared a HIT by the public and scoring 4 out of 5!

And...if you reached here accidentally, while searching for "100 days of BO's scorecard" you did not miss much. Believe me.
